could you use the inbuilt iphone Reminders function? works well with siri “remind me to wax the grass at 4pm”…the geofencing is supposed to work too, but i haven’t tried it much: “remind me to call mom when i get home”

Atish, Nina showed this to me, and I live by it. I have things like – every 3 months remind Aditya to post Aviyan story or pack the charger etc.

When I was an iPhone user and had baby brain I would talk to my watch for all of that. “remind me at 9am to clean the bottles. ” Remind me at 4pm to call Bob. Etc.

I’m curious as well. I don’t find the iOS reminder alerts attention getting enough and haven’t found it to be super reliable.

Yeah it was only useful when the watch was buzzing.

If you’re on android this is awesome: https://mightytext.net/works cross platform like iMessage (not as nice of course), lets you schedule texts, and a bunch of other nice features.

Most carriers have an email to text gateway. For instance, @txt.att.net is AT&T’s. The rest is just a cron job.

I just use Boomerang’s Send Later function to email myself in the future or, more often, put a current thread back at the top of my inbox at a later time to action. You could prob Send Later to your SMS email address to get the effect you want. You can compose from email or boomerang app and view your future sends in a list.

Definitely given that it’s a 1-hr to 1-weekend dev task depending on how much said dev remembers of AWS and Twilio.
